TORONTO, June 12, 2013 – This June Posterjack.ca is searching across Canada for three junior shutterbugs (12 years of age and under) to become Posterjack’s official Summer Kidtographers. Their assignment: document the magic of summer through the lens of a child.
To get each Kidtographer started on their summer photo journey, Posterjack will hook each kid up with a camera and memory card. From July 15 – August 31, Kidtographers will be asked to snap daily photos, which will be submitted to Posterjack every Friday by 4:00 p.m EST.
On September 1, Kidtographers will provide their memory card to Posterjack, containing their complete summer photo collection. These photos will be curated by Posterjack and featured in a virtual exhibit in the fall. Each Kidtographer will be awarded a $250 Posterjack gift certificate to turn their favourite summer photos into lasting art.
For the chance to become one of three official Posterjack Summer Kidtographers, parents must submit the following information via email to [email protected] by July 8, 2013:
- child’s name
- proof of age
- city, province
- a recent photo taken by their child
- a brief explanation (250 words or less) on why their child should be Posterjack’s Summer Kidtographer
