With the cold weather that hit Canada, January seemed to be a month for hibernating, spending time with family, and appreciating the snowy scenery. This month the #12PrintsProject bloggers shared stories of shared passions, family bonding, and “The Bench.”
What’s more Canadian than skating with your family on your own backyard rink sporting your favourite hockey team’s jersey? Follow that up with hot chocolate around a fire and In R Dream captured the perfect moment for a Wood Print.
Sometimes your best friend is your twin sister! My Organized Chaos found décor inspiration for daughters’ room in the love they have for their classmates, best friends, and each other. A classic black Gallery Frame was used to show off a photo representing love, friendship, and caring.
Another blogger who got her kids in on the action was Whispered Inspirations. Needing something to brighten up her office, Whispered Inspirations didn’t need to look further than the faces of her daughters. Their creativity came through during the shoot, coming up with their versions of “The Thinking Man” to help inspire Mommy.
Barbara Milner lets her little boy shine on a Metal Print. His two favourite things—bath time and music—come together in her new photo display.
For Christine Da Costa, January was a month of celebration with her eldest daughter having her Confirmation. It was at the party afterwards where Christine’s first #12PrintsProject photo was taken. It was a moment of just being silly that was able to express Christine’s utter joy of being a mother to two beautiful girls. She loves her Canvas Print so much that she can’t bring herself to move it out of her office just yet!
Frugal Mom, Eh found a different source of inspiration for her first print – a winter wonderland. Looking for a statement piece, Frugal Mom, Eh took to the trails to snap 400+ photos and the lone bench just had something about it. Set in a Barnwood Frame, it makes the perfect piece for her walls.
